ABOUT YANNICK BOUCHARD

” I was born in 1982, in Chicoutimi (Quebec, Canada), and I now live in Quebec City. I’ve been a full-time artist/freelance illustrator since 2011. I do oil paintings, mostly for my personal work, which consists of a mixture of surrealism and fantasy art, with beautiful ladies as a main source of inspiration. For commissioned artworks, I mostly go digital. I do book illustrations (horror and fantasy), heavy metal CD covers and T-shirt designs. I like to try different styles and have fun with what I do. I can do realistic and detailed artworks, as well as more stylized and simple illustrations. Sometimes I want to do more serious and darker art, and other times I’ll do parodies, comic book or vintage video games related stuff.” – Yannick Bouchard
