Art Of The Day: Miniatures Within A Metropolis For London Exhibit By Slinkachu.
At first glance, ‘All Alone’ appears to be one of the street artist’s most political works, together with ‘Springtime In Palestine’. Yet Slinkachu never tries to be critical towards a specific country or political party. Instead, he leaves the viewer to decide what the meaning of a certain installation might be.
Shot in the VDNKh area, in Moscow, this work is available in C-type prints on paper, in small and medium formats, and in C-type prints on aluminium in large format.
Damn Kids , 2011
Slinkachu, who has gained international recognition for his portrayal of ironic situations through human figurines, approaches the miniature installation medium in a fashion similar to the Chapman Brother’s, yet in a lighter format.
Concentrating on the creation of thought-inspiring imagery, Slinkachu offers viewers the opportunity of delving into his representations in an introspective way.

‘Hanging on’ sees the artist engage in a play on words which tackles issues such as nightlife, prostitution and city life. The lap-dancing figure of a woman, hanging from a streetlight pole recalls the duality of urban spaces, which often transform into decadent playgrounds at nighttime.
The artist leaves the choice of what to see in his works to the viewer. Concentrating on the creation of thought-inspiring imagery, Slinkachu offers viewers the opportunity of delving into his representations in an introspective way
