ABOUT EDUARD HORN AND PROJECT
As a child I was a big comic fan. Since I do have a new born son myself now all the memories kind of came back to me in a short period of time. This was also the reason for me to take on a hommage to my childhood heroes.
I knew and I loved the CC Kaleida effect in After Effects for many years now. And for me using it for this kind of work was just perfect to show my worship-like almost religious connection to the super hero universes of Marvel and DC Comics from the past.
The images reminded me a lot of church windows and of course of the kaleidoscope as a toy itself. This is part one of three from this project.
