ABOUT PARKER DAY
Parker Day is a Los Angeles based artist whose work explores identity and the masks we wear. Her focus is on fictionalized portraiture shot in studio on 35mm film.
ICONS, her series of 100 portraits, which will be presented in solo shows in Los Angeles in February, 2017 and Portland in March, 2017. The ICONS book is being published by not a cult. and will be released at the opening of the ICONS exhibition at Superchief Gallery on February 4th, 2017, 7-11pm, at 739 Kohler St, Los Angeles, CA 90021.
