R.I.P To The Man Who Gave New Life To The Wonder Woman Comic Series George Pérez.

Mr. Pérez was in charge of the 1986 reboot of Wonder Woman, who had first appeared in 1941. Patty Jenkins, the director of the Wonder Woman films, said she was influenced by his version of the character.

About The Career Of George Pérez

George Pérez, a celebrated comic book artist and writer who gave new life to Wonder Woman in the 1980s and helped create series for DC Comics and Marvel Comics that brought together some of the biggest heroes of the comics world, including The New Teen Titans, died on Friday at his home in Sanford, Fla. He was 67.

Mr. Pérez and Marv Wolfman created The New Teen Titans in 1980. The title went on to much success, and spawned several TV series.
