Sneakers We Like And Sneakers To Look Out For 8-17-22.
ABOUT NIKE DUNK LOW GREEN VELVET
The Swoosh design teams opted to go with more of a sophisticated arrangement for this new variation. Rather than lean on the silhouette’s customary leather build, the brand elevates its look by wrapping the toe boxes, quarters, and overlays in full green velour. Tongues are devised with their traditional nylon materials but match up in color, while subtle notes of white are present on the laces and Nike Air branding. Down below the kicks come crafted with colorless midsole units and muted green outsoles.

Detailed pictures of the shoes can be seen above, and you can anticipate Nike to release these in the upcoming weeks.
ABOUT AIR JORDAN 1 LOST AND FOUND
Previously referred to as the “Chicago Reimagined,” the Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found” pays homage to mom and pop shops. Through both its packaging and its aged, retro-inspired details, the release imagines a scenario in which you come across some DS “Chicago” 1s in the basement/storage of these very storefronts.
While many have likened the shoe to both its 1985 and 2015 counterparts, it’s more accurate to say it mirrors the releases of 1994, employing a marginally larger Swoosh as well as a formed toe box. And as we all already know, the base replicates the distressed look of older pairs, featuring cracks all throughout the toe box, mid-panel, and collar. The soles, too, aid the immersion, recreating the dustiness commonly produced when leaving sneakers in storage.
The storytelling continues to unfold by way of the packaging. Alongside scuffs and discoloration, the box features replacement lids that were borrowed from the AJKO. And within, the Air Jordan 1 is wrapped in a paper rife with vintage ads.

ABOUT NIKE DUNK LOW PINK/BLACK PATENT SNEAKERS
The silhouette arrives with a soft pink leather base that is quickly contrasted by black patent leather overlays, adding an additional visual layer to the beloved model. The two-toned colorway is detailed with a black panel swoosh, Nike tongue tag, pink branded insoles and pink Nike logos embroidered on the heels, and rests on a white midsole and black outsole that’s finally tied together with complementing laces for a clean finish.
The Nike Dunk Low in black and pink is set to release soon via Nike and select retailers.
ABOUT NIKE DUNK LOW REVERSE PANDA SNEAKER
Due most in part to its overwhelming popularity, the Dunk Low “Panda” has very quickly become a modern classic, with wearers of the colorway continuing to multiply in droves. And this success has led Nike to create many an unofficial sequel, including but not limited to this newly-revealed “Reverse Panda” make-up.
Similar to its much-beloved counterpart, the “Reverse Panda” employs a simple, black-on-white palette. The color blocking, however, is a stark departure from the above-mentioned pair: the lighter of the two neutrals is used across the overlays and Swoosh, while the opposing tone lays underneath. Below, the sole unit, too, is flipped, reversing the look we’re well accustomed to seeing on Peter Moore’s beloved design.
These should be hitting Nike.com and select retailers soon, with a release date sure to be announced within the next few months.
ABOUT NANAMICA PUMA SUEDE VTG GORE-TEX SNEAKER
Similar in approach to the Japanese label’s earlier partnerships, the nanamica x PUMA Suede leverages the silhouette’s timeless design. Save for the materials themselves, little is changed about the shoe. GORE-TEX fabrics, however, are a welcome and sizable upgrade, as they line the premium suedes used throughout the entirety of the upper. Matching flat laces are strung adjacent, colored either grey or navy in complement to the two monochromatic colorways.
Complete with co-branding across the sockliner and tongue, nanamica’s latest sneaker collab is slated to release on August 27th at select retailers and likely nanamica.com.
ABOUT NIKE AIR MORE UPTEMPO SLIDES OG
A pair of the Nike Air More Uptempo Slides have surfaced in a classic black and white hue. The color scheme gives a nod to NBA veteran Scottie Pippen‘s “OG” Air More Uptempo colorway. The slide is comfort-focused and features a black nubuck base with its signature “AIR” bubble letter outlined in white. The slides also include the Swooshes that are visible on the top and on the Air bubbles on underfoot.
Take a look above at the official photos of the Nike Air More Uptempo Slide “OG” set to release in the coming weeks in select retailers and on Nike.
ABOUT NIKE AIR FORCE 1 COLUMBIA BLUE 2022 SNEAKER
For 2022, Nike has lightly aged up the decades-old offering, applying a yellowed, vintage-inspired finish to the midsole. The upper’s leathers, though, opt for a more pristine white shade, which complements not only the laces but the text across the tongue label and heel tab. And much like the Swoosh, strap, and tread, the latter two fixtures flaunt the bold “Columbia Blue,” completing a relatively faithful homage to a much older release.
Enjoy an official look at these via the official images added below. Sizes should hit Nike.com as well as select retailers soon, so sit tight.
