“Once Upon A Time No More was painted for the group show Glass, Cinder & Thorns III at Inner State Gallery in Detroit and the original was previously sold before the show. An agent suggested that I do a series of Disney princesses for fine art prints through a Disney licensed publisher, and while brainstorming the idea came to me.The golden yarn cat’s cradle and the tattoo on her finger is a message to all the bullies out there. I hope everyone will find the message and execution unique and special. I also hope this image will remind us of the message each time it’s viewed.” – Mimi Yoon
