ABOUT JOSE MENDEZ

Jose Mendez is a Spanish illustrator and artist based in London.

Originally from Madrid, he studied a degree in Graphic Design, finalising his studies in Paris, in 2012 he did a master in animation at University of Arts London.

For the past three years he has been developing creative projects in Los Angeles, Miami, London, Tokyo, Europe, Melbourne and Bali.

His work is characterised by a colourful palette, bold shapes, wavy line and great use of contrast.

Mural painted in London in collaboration with Global Street Art.
This mural is inspired by a recent trip to New York and the neon signs of the city. With this mural I wanted to bring the idea of over consuming information, immersing yourself in the visual chaos of the city.
