Rising Up is a crazy arcade beat ‘em up where a disgruntled office worker goes on a carnage-filled rampage.
In Rising Up you are an ageing office worker who snaps one day when the printer breaks down. You then go on a crazy ten minute rampage where you wreck anybody and anything you see, then go for a final showdown with your boss.
The beat ‘em up gameplay in Rising Up is pretty basic with very simple controls (attack, jump, block), but the pixel art animation and environmental carnage is fantastic. It’s got a great sense of humor and it takes some hilariously unexpected twists along the way. It makes for a perfect way to relieve a little stress after a hard day’s work!
