1) Researchers at the University of Tokyo wanted to know if domestic cats are able to recognize the voices of their owners
2) They used recordings of the voices of the owners of 20 cats calling their pets
3) The scientists also used three recordings of unknown people calling the animals
4) they then analyzed the reactions of cats: movement of the head, tail, paws and ears and meowing
5) Surprising a total of 0 people living with cats, the study shows that animals recognize the voices of the owners, but chooseignore them
6) But if it does not work call your cat by name, just swing the feed package he comes running – or not.
