Whitebites Package Design
If you happen to have a dog, you may have noticed that there isn’t much of a variety when it comes to dog food and snacks package design. For this project, we examined reinventing packaging for rawhide sticks used for chewing. After thoroughly¬ examining multiple pet supply stores, we noticed that most rawhides were in clear plastic bags, or in some cases, not even packaged at all. While Plastic bags are harmful to the environment and in this case not reusable, not having any kind of protection is unhygienic. The new solution to his conundrum came about through a combination of humour, a consciousness for the environment, and aesthetics.
There are three different sizes available for the customers, and each size is differentiated by the type of dog illustrated and the diagram indicated on the bottom left. The mouth of each dog is cut out so that consumers can see the product inside, as well as view it as the white “teeth” of the dog. The left ear serves as a flap in which the user can open to slide out sticks one at a time instead of having to put their hands in the box. The other ear functions as a “hook” to put up on display racks. The back of the package design explains the nutrition facts, ingredients, and highlights of the product. The package is meant to be a collectors’ item, and is also refillable with new rawhide sticks.

Exhibitionist Coffee Cup
Random / goofy idea I had when I was supposed to be doing client work. This was quite easy to make. Cut the coffee sleeve in half and tape it to back of cup. Cut a section from the back of the cup to make the hands. Tape it all together and draw a creepy face. Place it on a table in your local coffee shop and see how people react.
Gummy Bearskin Rug
This was another idea that was just sitting around in my head waiting to get made. I often execute these kinds of pieces because I am curious as to what the piece will look like once executed.

Made from sliced bag pieces from the following 8 Doritos flavors: Late Night Cheeseburger, Pizza Supreme, Nacho Cheese, Throwback Taco, Toasted Corn, Salsa Verde, Blazin’ Buffalo & Ranch and Spicy Sweet Chili.

Recently, I was interviewed by tpt.org in regards to my Make Something Cool Every Day project. I was asked to try and make something creative on the spot, in the room where I was being interviewed. After evaluating the room, I was struck with an idea. I got out my marker and voila, Snoutlet.

These are some of the recent personal pieces I’ve made for fun. Most of these pieces are made at home on the weekends. I get a lot of inspiration from my children. They create spontaneously, everything is new to them. I often try to revert back to childhood when creating, which helps me to view ordinary things in a new way.

In today’s recipe Chef Butcher starts with a thick cut of a classic game title and then keeps adding delicious, melting, luscious, rich selects of crunchy pop culture including the usual finest iconic celebrities, vintage movies, subversive rockstarts, japanese animes, entertainment industry brands and improbable visual concepts to spice things up. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.
