ONEQ was born in 1981 in Japan’s southeast Kyushu island.
My work as an illustrator includes a variety of genre such as magazine artwork, DVD cover art, apparel and clothing art, and manga illustrations. I mix Japanese and American art styles when dealing with manga designs.
My illustration might be defined as pop style with an underground flavor. I like to create simple images in my work. I start with a pencil and sketchbook and then use photoshop type programs to add color. I like orange and red tones the most.
Recently, I have been focusing my work on old Japanese manga style illustration.
