ABOUT CAROLYN BEEHLER
Carolyn Beehler is a visual artist living in Music City. She graduated from O’More College of Design in 2009 and spent the next few years traveling, including a six-month stay in Shanghai. Having relocated to Nashville, she desires to focus on collections that meditate upon her travels. Her first collection, Frolics in Italy, was shown at O’More in February 2016. Carolyn is fascinated by collage’s endless textures, words and symbols that create layers of story and symbolism. Her impressionistic style is influenced by Vincent van Gogh and Salvador Dali, two artists who pioneered expressions of movement as well as a dreamlike fusion of unrelated images.
