Ken Keirns is a Northern California artist who grew up in Flint, Michigan. After spending nearly a decade in Chicago, Ken moved out West in late 2007 to paint full-time and complain about the lack of snow. While his primary focus has been working with oil paint, he has been known to deliver the odd sculpture, toy prototype or mixed media piece. His recurrent subject matter revolves around cranially endowed women and monkeys interlaced with personal experiences, dreams, and the occasional bad pun. Ken’s education was in graphic design. He only took a few formal painting classes — he is mostly self-taught through research and trial & error.
Nick Gentry is a British artist from London. Much of his artistic output has been generated with the use of contributed artefacts and materials. He states that through this process “contributor, artist and viewer come closer together”. His art is influenced by the development of consumerism, technology, identity and cyberculture in society, with a distinctive focus on obsolete media.

My name is Rudy-Jan Faber. I’m a self taught illustrator based in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
When I was a young boy, around the age of five, my dad taught me some basics in drawing (for some reason he denies this though…) and I’ve been passionately drawing and painting ever since. I started out drawing animals, mostly dinosaurs, then took a more cartoony approach. Around the age of ten, fueled by my addiction for ‘beat ‘em up’ video games such as ‘Street Fighter’ I started drawing bulky warriors and ninjas. It was then that I learned I liked to draw figurative drawings and character designs. In my early teenager years somehow my interest for the human figure switched from drawing tough men to drawing women and to this day this remains my main subject of choice in my personal work.
I love illustrating pin-ups. Sometimes I choose bright and colourful themes with some urban, pop-art, lowbrow influences. Other times I enjoy painting dark, eerie and macabre themed illustrations. My main focus in my work is giving my characters lots of personality.
Apart from that I still enjoy drawing cartoons very much.
