I am an illustrator and Art Director for a New Zealand based advertising agency.

I started these illustrations both as a tribute to George Lucas and my love of Star Wars, and as a way to occupy those rare quiet times.

The Hello Kitty images you find here are ALL illustrations and are NOT painted model kits.

My plan is to paint 101 kitties and I have already started compiling them into a (pretty nice looking, if I say so myself) coffee table book. Maybe I’ll be able to get it published and people who are interested could have a high quality hard copy for themselves, or their cat-crazy friends.

These works are by concept artist Mauricio Herrera.

Born in 1975 in La Serena, northern Chile, and worked as an illustrator since the age of 19.
In 1999 i developed the TCG the game Myths and Legends, working along 7 years like artist and graphic editor.
Usually I try to work on projects that blend themes as superhero and anime, epic fantasy and scifi, etc.
Currently i live in México working like freelance for worldwide companys, principally in the trading card area art, character design for video games and recently like artist in a comicbook published in HongKong.
